V = Pi*r^2*h

V = Volume
Pi = 3.14157....
r = radius of the cylinder
h = height

If you want the surface area,

2* (2 * Pi * r )+ h * 2 * Pi * r = SA

where SA is in ft^2.  This includes the ends like a can would look like.

If you are only looking at a hollow tube then the SA formula is:
h * 2 * Pi * r = SA
