Hi TechNetters,

I am so sorry to ask this question but if I don't I'll never learn.  WHY are
vias plugged or filled?  We don't do anything to ours.  We do primarily single-
and double-sided boards, PTH and SMT mixed.  We have a few multi-layer but the
innerlayers are ground planes and the bosses cringe when things like blind or
buried vias are mentioned.  Someone care to answer this simple question?
