        Bev: I'm assuming you are referring to Mixed Flowing Gas(MFG)testing.
These are accelerated corrosion stress tests to predict field life of electronic
assemblies and components in various environments such as business office,light
industrial,heavy industrial etc. This is accomplished by introducing trace
amounts(ppb range)of corrosive gases into a chamber for a given amount of time.

They are fairly complicated test procedures to run and correlate data to. Unless
you plan on doing a lot of this type of testing I would recommend you send it
out to a service.

There are a variety of testing labs that can do this for you. We have used IBM
Endicott (607-755-0123).They have quite a bit of experience is this type of
testing and the ability to effectively correlate the accelerated testing to real
world applications.

In addition to the various Battelle tests there are a series of ASTM ones also
available. Take a look at ASTM B827,I believe a newer ASTM standard may be out
but I don't recall the number
