                   Just as an aside, have you considered FTPing your
  photoplotting files. FTP, I believe, doesn't care how big the files
  are and you don't have to worry about a modem corrupting your data
  files.... Don't have your other problems, so I can't comment. Hope
  this helps if/when you resolve your file size problem.
