I have worked with both ECD M.O.L.E. and KIC SlimKIC profilers, and also
used a demo unit from Datapaq.  They all seem to be good units but I
selected the SlimKIC primarily due to software ease of use.  I would
recommend trying demo units from all three to make sure you get the one
that best suits your needs and prevent a purchasing mistake.  If you want

Our company is looking for information about temperature profilers for some
SMT andwave
soldering lines.
Question:  Is there anyone out there with experience with temperature
profilers who
can offer any information on the pros andcons of the temperature profilers
available,
especially such things as:
1)  Accuracy
2)  MTBF
3)  Hardware ease of use (any issues?)
4)  Software ease of use  (any issues?)
5)  Technical support  (any issues?)
6)  SPC capabilities
7)  Overall performance and general satisfaction
We're pretty small potatos and I can't afford to make too many purchasing
mistakes.
 I would normally contact a list of customers provided by the vendor, but
thought
I'd try my hand in a more open forum like IPC's Technet.
