This subject brings back bad memories to me....
A while back (long time) every board I purchased
had "mouse bites" the explanation is something
like swiss cheese type circles partialy thru a circuit
trace. The ones we had only went about 10% into
the trace & only partially thru the thickness of the trace.
I cannot draw a picture, but the long and the short
of it were bubbles in the agitation system of the pattern
plate line causing them. The total reduction in circuit
length and width was not enough to reject, but I still
didn't like it. The vendor causing it controlled his bath
better and the problem went away. I had good micro photos
of the condition but long dumped.
