Some people will purchase a 250 volt tester to be able to accomadate higher
voltage requirements of certain customers. However , if the price
differences are that drastic , and you don't think you'll need the higher
voltage capabilities , go with the 50 volt machine. There are always
companies more than willing to test these higher voltages for you , as you
require.
