Hello Technetters

We have an off again on again problem with component markings ( mostly
SOIC's, mostly from one supplier) being removed during our cleaning cycles.
One of our customers insist that all marking must remain on his products. He/
we must replace components or add a label and get a wavier for each incident.

Each board is cleaned 3 times.
1st time after smt reflow.
2nd time after wave solder.
3rd time before shipping.

We have a Westkleen in line system.
We use Armakleen 2002 in the wash sections.
temp. in the wash is 160f. @ 50 psi, speed 2 fpm.

Questions:
     Anyone else have this problem?
What have you done to correct it?
Is there a parts marking spec?

Thanks in advance for your help.
