Morning Mr. Smith
We have had the same thinking, but we realize three concerns:
1) coating Teflon or Teflon-like surfaces must be very tricky. To get a
good adhesion our chemists say you need to perform etching with
not-so-wanted means (Naphtalene/Tetrahydrofurane-solutions and similar
horrifying things... The preparation will affect conductors and
components. With other words, it seems to be less good to apply acrylics
or polyurethanes directly on the board.
2) such boards are oftenly used for RF-applications. If you coat the
boards you may change the RF characteristics too much.
3) repare will be expensive

So, we changed the surrounding conditions for the board instead.
However, if you get good advice from somewhere, I appreciate a word or
two from you. The coatings we would like to use are either of these well
known:
1) Humiseal 1B31 from Concoat (one-component)
2) Duacryl 55138 from Casco (two-component)
