1. KIRK encyclopdia  of Chemistry to study unique properties of  SILICONE,
Epoxy
    another related issues.
2. silicone is water repellent, inert, gets smeared  very fast and very very
dificult to
     to clean. It creates unforeseen trouble... It is anti-adhesive also..
3. It is used with epoxy to create good  fluidic interface activity to bond
epoxy
    with dissimilar materal  like epoxy -fiberglass pcb laminates to wet the
fiberglass
4. Complete knowledge of properties of material required to handle it....I do
not
