Rob Schetty and Matt Byrne asked for more information on the
welding institute and their wire bonding course. They are a
research company specialising in materials joining, anything
from microelectronics to ships and nuclear reactor pressure
vessels. They have a fairly extensive microelectronics group. If
your company is a member, which ours isn't, you get access









         to their research and library etc. For non members there are
         various training courses.
         The wire bonding one is 3 days and covers both the theory and
         practical side including hands on experience.
