Has anyone experienced Immersion AU deposits in NPTH's?

My particular case involves product that was outsourced for the Immersion
AU finish & after return all the NPTH's that had been primary drilled &
tented during Pattern Plate had Immersion AU deposits, same thickness as
the surface. All of the edges of the board & holes that were 2nd drilled
after Plate & Etch are free of deposits. X-section reveals that the
deposits are only at the glass bundles. Closer looks at previous shipment
shows trace deposits only at the glass bundles with the coverage
increasing in NPTH's as the hole size decreases.
