Jedec std gives only min and max sizes on outline dim.However Jedec std
is quite useful for component pitch, tray carrier etc.
Actual measurement is important as all vendors can  different-one way or
other. These variations can create no of process problems.

Use comp database option which is normally available  in all
eqpts.Database need first time measurement data which can be used for
all future applications.Since database is specific to actual kind of
devices used, Probably, you are the beast person to make one.

Many of new machines do not ask for most of components and thus unload
this task.You may need to ask machine supplier of pick and place
machine.
