Regarding Plastic Parts:

When a part is identified as having an allowable exposure time of 48 hrs...

1) Can I expose it for 24 hours, seal it in a moisture barrier bag for some
extended period of time, and then expose it for another 24 hours? In other
words, is it safe to assume that this is CUMULATIVE exposure time?

2) If you open a bag just to pull a couple of parts, and then reseal the bag
(minutes of exposure) does that present any problems?

For those who respond, please clarify whether this is your internal
procedure, or if it is documented in IPC, or elsewhere.

Thanks,

Mike
