We are considering using PEMs on some future boards that we are building. We
have heard concern about corrosion to the plastic parts when used with RMA
flux. I have been under the impression that this is only a problem when the
part is immersed in RMA flux as would happen in wave soldering for example.
My question is if anyone has had experience with plastic parts and RMA flux
and if immersion in RMA and then heating to trap the flux is the the only
concern.
