This is an invitation to comment for all IPC members and other interested parties.

IPC Task Group 5-24d "Surface Mount Adhesives" has developed a working draft on General Guidlines For Isotropically Conductive Adhesives. This document, IPC 3407, is at the 2nd working draft level and still requires a fair amount of work. The document has been inactive since mid 1995. At a recent meeting of the Task Group during IPCWorks '97, questions arose on whether there is any tecnical interest in moving foward with this document. If there is, volunteers are requested to help with the process. If you would like more information, contact the TG chair Larry Crane <[log in to unmask]> or myself OFF THE TECHNET. If you would like to review the draft, contact me directly.
