Have heard twice in the last week about a future ban on "cupric chloride
etching".  My response was that there must be some new regulation on handling
of chlorine cylinders for cupric regeneration.   Of course, there are a
couple of other regeneration techniques besides chlorine gas, so that would
not eliminate cupric etching.

Has the IPC Environmental, Health, and Safety group heard about any of this,
or is this the "chain letter" of the PWB fabrication industry in mid-October?
