You write: 'The temperature profile seems good (140 oC or 284 oF for the
bottom side)' Where was this temperature profile measured? Maybe it is an
indication that you do not reach adequate soldering temperatures in the wave,
particularly since you indicate that you have no problem in manually
soldering these pads.
