I  agree with Erik but at same time, it is discreation of sender .
Philips probably had not meant the diversion of information.
We look at technet as tool for spreading engineering. Many a times I do
also write my personal mail in case somebody want to contact me
directly. But intent is always same-info should always come through net
.
There is no need to worry about flood when we are facing scarcity of
relevant engineering information on current issues:BGAs, high density
packages,facilities requirements and new technologies such as Flip
chips, microBGAs, MCMs, DCAs and many more.
I had very poor response on some of the aforementioned
topics--facilities requirements and BGAs.I am thinking to post the
messages again.Where is flood???Please do encourage experts to flood the
technet and not to divert to other outletsinstead. We are more than 1300
now ,looking at this technet as problem solving tool.Keep it up and be
proud of it.
I hope many participants on Technet will agree with me.
