We can create IPC-D-356 netlists directly from our Cadence Allegro design databases.  We wrote (and currently sell) our own utility software to accomplish the task.  We supply the netlist file as a matter of practice with every design that we do.  Have a list of 14 fabricators that use the file directly for netlist electrical test of the bare board.

We can also supply a myriad of ATE data files for in-circuit testing.  Probably have a dozen different formats available (each for a particular type of tester).  Most test houses will gladly provide you with the format that they prefer to see.

I have a few questions regarding files for bare PCB ATE:

1. Does anyone have the ability to output an IPC-D-356 file from their
PCB design software?
    If so what system are you using?

2. Is anyone supplying ATE netlist files to their PCB fab shops? What
format is the file? What CAM software is     the shop using?

If you have any input or opinions on this subject please jump in.
