Everyone,

As a matter of interest, how many companies purchase PCB database
translators?
In my experience, I found that most companies migrating from EDA Vendor
A to Vendor B, insist that there must be a route forward for their
designs, for of ECO's etc. They expect to see a demonstration of the
translator, but in reality they very rarely purchase the translator, but
as in your case Chris, they simply keep a copy of Vendor A software
switched on in a non maintenance mode.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Regards,

Steve
