What is your policy about ....
RNR and RNC Resistors are classified, for the most part, as Class III
components with respect to ESD. Some resistors are even classified as Class
I components. These parts are packaged in bulk from the manufacturers (e.g.
Dale) in cardboard boxes which are placed inside a pink poly plastic bag.
Questions (with respect to ESD)
1) When pulling these parts for kits or repackaging for use out on the
factory floor, how are parts re-packaged for use on the floor ?
2) What is your opinion of the packaging as received ?
3) Any comments concerning ESD and resistors in general ?
