WE have not experienced any Static related issues on our drill
machines but have however had numerous problems on the older Advanced
control routers. Our routers are all earth grounded to try to prevent
     this from happening.

The Hitachis are equipped with a function that matches the program hit
count with the actual hit count. This message should catch a missed
hole. I would suggest attempting to "trick" the machine by
     intentionally missing a hole.

The next area is the download. The download will move information in
blocks to the machine. The missing hit could be at the end/beginning
of the block break. If the program is wrong, the machine will NOT
     recognize the missing hole.

I have had good luck with contacting the Hitachi Representative with
issues that I can't figure out.

     Good luck

     Andy Armitage
