Of and on we come across field failure on lead trimming--the annular
ring is damaged or scratched.

The initial analysis showed that it could be due to trimming tool head
being flush head type.It could be trainning issue.

What is norm on trimming cutter head type and what is kind of approach
to trim the lead after wave ??
Is there automated trimmer tools for soldered boards??
I know trimming before wave or prep components is very cubersome
process.

How you guys are handling such an issue?
