In the past, I have found both these straightforward. The Boeing SQC can
run on very old PCs, is unsophisticated but gets the job done. SPC KISS is
a good package and easy to learn because it runs on Excel. Both are
inexpensive.

Boeing SQC (avail. from Boeing for $100) is a good little package for DOS
machines.
For Windows, SPC KISS from Air Academy Associates (Co Springs, CO) that runs
on Excel for about $100.
