What environmental tests has the product passed and what test is it
failing.  Have you determined what the failure modes are?  Since you're
looking at wire bonds, I'm guessing you'll see corrosion, bond lifts, or wire
breaks.  I'm sure there are a lot of others out there that are better at
giving process recommendation for wire bonding, but this would be good info to
get first.
        Other questions to ask are:
1)  Is the reliability test applicable to the user environment?  Not too
extreme an environment or is it a requirement by the customer?
2)  What constitutes a failure?  Maybe it's a catastrophic failure or
parameter shift.

        I'm sure as you begin to answer a few of these questions, more will
develop that need answers.
