How to deal with spam from vendors. I have found that this really
works.

1. Reply and WARN them. If you never hear from them again it has
worked.
2. If step 1 fails, go to one of several hundred thousand sites on the
web and get a
software program specifically set up to 'e-mail bomb' them.
(Sending them thousands
of e-mails, randomly generated names etc. so they HAVE to open each
one to figure
if it is a mail bomb or a legit e-mail. If you use an anonomyzer
site to make your
e-mails impossible to trace, you can't get in trouble with your ISP
and have your
     account pulled.
3. Once step 2 is complete, turn on the mail filter that comes with
your communications
package and block all e-mails from the original spammer and if you
like, also their
domain. So not only can [log in to unmask] not spam you again,
no individual
who is from evergreen.com can ever send you an e-mail that you will
have to open.
4. If you can't do step three, get a real e-mail package! It really
helps cut down on the
Spam. You can set it so that it looks for names and domains to
ignore and even key
phrases, like "Free Sex" "I Made Money" "Make $$$" etc.
5. If by chance they list an 888 or 800 number, you can SPAM that
too! Wait till they get
     their next phone bill.
6. If the 888 or 800 number is for a pager or better yet, a cell phone,
have several people
or better yet, several hundred thousand people SPAM these people
back. They look
at the pager number and have to call back, incurring long distance
charges, and Cell
Phones are around 25 cents a minute so even if you call them, let
it ring, let them
answer, say nothing, then hang up, they still have incurred a 25
cent charge. Now
mulitply that buy 100,000. PLEASE NOTE: Harrasment using a
telecommunications device is illegal (but one incidence of a
"wrongly dialed number"
is hard to prove) so you should spread around phone harrasment. We
should
have a discussion group called alt.spam.the.spammers where we list
messages with
numbers and e-mail addresses of people to SPAM. Let's see how they
like it!

Now you got me all riled up! Gotta make a few calls to Evergreen <G>
