concerning rs274x format. as the supervisor of the C.A.M.
department at my company, I can tell you that we prefer this format.
by having the apertures imbedded in the file, you reduce the chances
of an error being made. when apertures have to be entered manually,
you run the risk of a typing error, such as a 5 being entered instead
of 50, or an innerlayer thermal being entered as a clearance pad.
rs274x allows us to just read in the file directly, sometimes you may
have as many as 50 separate apertures to enter, would you rather be
able to just read the file in, or do you want someone to sit and type
them in, one at a time.
