Has anybody had problems with carrier tape jamming in Panasonic MK feeder
units (8/12mm)? We're having problems with the non-embossed edge of the
tape falling off the support edge of the feeder and down into the
cavity/slot where the embossed pocket of the tape should ride. This causes
vacuum miss picks and machine downtime while the feeder jam is repaired. If
familiar with this problem or if you have experience with similar problems
please respond with the following info.

What make and model machine/feeder are you having the problem with?

What size feeders/carrier tape are affected?

Is the problem more pronounced with certain vendors of tape and reel?

What did you do to fix problem or what have you done to minimize the problem.
