In further answer to Andy McKean's query, this MAY be related to issues
regarding Legionella.
It is a mandate that any and all recirculating water systems and / or storage
systems be equipped with UV sterilisers to ensure that Legionella bacterium
are eradicated.

Hi L Connally
Can you confirm that the use of iodine (even at 1PPM) will have no effect on
product contamination.

Hi A. McKean,
I'm not sure as to how to measure it, but about 1 PPM of Iodine in the
water will kill most of the Microorganisms. We used this to kill algae in DI
Water.
