Steve: FYI.
We have one SMD water wash system for sale. We just removed it from the
line last week.

Hello Technetters,

I am looking for advice on purchasing used SMT placement equipment.
It
will be used for very high mix low volume production (Approximately 150
different assemblies with an average monthly lot size of 10 boards). The
placement machine will need to handle component sizes from an 0805 package
to 44mm PLCC's. I do not anticipate any really fine pitch needs for this
machine (<20 mil).
My dream machine should have capability of quick job changeovers, a
simple
operator/programmer interface, be inexpensive to purchase, be accurate and
repeatable, and be durable. Speed is not a huge consideration here.
I would also appreciate any thoughts on screen printers, and
paste/glue
dispensers.

* Can anyone out there recommend a particular make and model
    that I
should be considering for this application, or avoiding?
* Any used equipment houses that I should talk to, or avoid?
* Any thoughts on system configuration I should pay
particular interest
to? Vision, # feeders, type feeders, # heads, ect...........
