Richard,

I agree with Vickie that SPC is SPC.  I used the IPC-PC-90 as a guide for
introducing SPC into a factory making helicopter wiring harnesses, blades,
machined parts etc., etc.  It was extremely helpful as a guideline.

As to what to control for specific processes, sometime the supplier of the
equipment, fluxes etc. can help.    Often they haven't done a DOE so it is
just opinion, however.
