I would like to know what the required hold down time is for vacuum
lamination prior to loading into the press. We currently still use turkey
bags and hold vacuum for 30 minutes, which is how long the press takes to
heat up for each cycle. On some of the newer presses that have vacuum
chambers, the press is loaded immediately, especially if is a hot press only.
What is the criteria for this process? Any thoughts on this would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.
