As a process engineer in a past life my favorite solderability test of
PWB's was to simply run a bare board through the wave solder machine or to
print paste and reflow. Inspect the board for wetting, solder flow, solder
sticking to the mask, delamination, discoloration, etc. This test provides
you with more practical information on the compatibility of boards to your
process than with any other method I am aware of.
