     John,

My list of Pros and Cons comes from experience I believe we've used 'em
     all....

     a. ESD Tile Flooring
     Pro: Looks real spiffy
Con: Cost more than you can imagine

     b. ESD Wax, over cement flooring
     Pro: Low cost
     Con: Maintenance

     c. ESD Paint, over cement floor - with or without wax.
     Pro: Cheaper than tile
     Con: Costs more than wax/maintenance

We use unfinished (no wax or paint) bare concrete in our
assembly/manufacturing area. When the environment is kept within 20-70%
humidity, our typical flooring resistivity is 10 to the 5th Ohms/sq which
is great to dissipate a charge to ground. It doesn't look as sharp as the
ESD tile we have in another area, but it didn't cost us a dime either.
