     You don't need ESD protection if you don't care about failed boards.
     Failure can occur in the factory due to ESD or the ESD can damage the 
     part so it will fail in the field.

Subject: ESD ground vs Electrical ground

Hi! I am wondering if anyone could advise me whether to use ESD ground or 
Electrical ground for my production line. At this moment we do not have a 
ESD ground but we are thinking of building one. Is this advisable?
