The August chapter meeting will be held Thursday, August 7 at the Texins

their control, we have postponed that meeting and tour to December 4th.
We will be viewing the IPC video "Design Considerations", one of seven video
tapes from the IPC-D-275 PWB Design Workshop series. Explained by Dieter
Bergman, IPCs Director of Technology Transfer, on how to use the IPC-D-275, IPC

* REVITALIZATION OF THE NORTH TEXAS CHAPTER *
******************************************************************************
This chapter has been inactive for slightly over a year. There is a tremendous
resource of designers in the North Texas area which can make a very strong
chapter with a diverse knowledge base. Let's unlock this valuable resource!
The second chapter meeting was hosted by North Texas Circuit Board in Grand
Prairie, Texas. There were eighteen people in attendence. Let's see if we can
double that number in August!! Thanks to Andy White and Keith Larson from
giving an excellent tour of their facility and for all the refreshments.
******************************************************************************
WHAT ARE THE PARTICULARS TO JOINING?
The IPC has set the guidelines for membership: $50.00 per member makes
you a national member and a member of the local chapter. $20.00 of your
membership fee is returned to the local chapter to help with the
educational part of the council. Membership is open to PWB designers and those
diciplines related to PWB design (including vendors). Either visit the IPCs
web site at http://www.ipc.org then select Design and then Designers Council.
You may join via the web or by mail. Applications are available at the meeting
or call me. BE SURE TO AFFILIATE WITH THE NORTH TEXAS CHAPTER.
