i think over the years - vapor honing has been mscunstrued into surface prep.
There was a system inthe past that actually was a sandblast type of equipment
- that used either silica or aluminum oxide - n it didi both. Even todays
pumice cannot stand up to a chemical clean unit - properly tuned. guess this
is a little history on tht topic.
