Hello Technetters:

Our Final Inspection department has different ideas on quality of
routed edges after Fabrication. IPC lists nothing in the way of
measuring edge quality numerically, just a general statement stating
edges must be free of burrs, metal shavings and have smooth edges.
We have different types of "chatter" on the boards depending on the
grain direction, foil thickness and route speed but all look
relatively smooth. Any suggestions on how to measure edge quality?

Thanks in advance.
