Has anyone seen pink ring associated with a real functional
or reliability problem, or is it purely a cosmetic problem?
Some board vendors have wanted to change our design data, even
to the point of impairing electrical characteristics, solely
to remove the "problem" of pink ring.

Regards,
Richard Schumacher
