Hi David & Prasad,
Some years back we in the IEEE Compliant Lead Task Force did mechanical
cycling at 23, 50 and 81oC at cyclic frequencies ranging from 60 to 14,400
cycles per day (2.5 to 600 cycles/hour) producing dwell times ranging from 12
minutes to 3 seconds; even  with short dwells at room temperature the fatigue
regime was clearly low-cycle fatigue with domination by creep.
