I have seen some types AOI-equipment for inspection of PCB´s.
None of the type used any kind of chemicals to prepare the prepreg.
Instead the systems used a combination of reflective and diffuse light (key point in AOI),
which can illuminate the PCB in a way so that the prepreg looks like it were fluorescent.
I have never seen a system, which were based on fluorescence of the prepreg?
We are using the AOI-systems from Orbotech and very satisfied with the performance.
Compared to other systems it has a high ratio of reproducibility.
Best regards
Jan Thuesen

Is anybody in this industry tell me what type of chemicals are being used
for giving fluorescence to the prepreg material for AOI equipment?
