Hi Technetters !
We are considering installation of tin-lead stripping machine ( spray )
consist of two chemical modules . There are two basic possibilities to run
this configuration :
a ) The same of chemistry in both modules . The first module controlled by
density controller ( the solution is almost exhausted ) , replenishent
supplied to the second module.Excess solution from the second module
overflow to the first . Excess solution from the first module taken out also
by overflow . This allow full feed and bleed , steady state conditions .
b ) Two different chemistries : in the first module tin-lead is stripped
down to intermetalic layer , in the second module the intermetalic layer is
taken down . The first stage can run in steady state conditions by density
control , The second stage batchwise .
What are advantages and disadvantages of each method ?
