Keith,
    Why would your customer want to allow any degree of burr, pigtails or
lifting on their edge connectors?  The abrasive wheel that applies the
chamfer to the cut edge should be rotating parallel to the connector
contacts.  As it cuts the chamfer, the copper is shaved down (in the
direction of the cut edge), leaving no burrs, etc. to catch on the mating
connector.
    If your customer will be mating these connector edges with a ZIF (zero
insertion force) type locking connector, they may be able to tolerate some
small amount.
