Ed, When call out a V-Groove spec be sure spec material remaining not what
is removed. Also be sure that the v-grooves are perpendicular to each other
not off set. We typ spec for FR-4 .018-.024 and for MC-3 material .030 -
.040. This inf. for .062 thick boards. Also be careful using scoring
because at one time there were two different processes to do this. One was
to use a machine that really looked like a pizza cutter and all it did was
break the first two layers of glass and did not work well with FR-4
material. The second is actually cutting material away and this is referred
to as V-Grooving. Unfortunately the terms are used generically and one
needs to be careful if they are using a supplier that has one of these
older processes still in use.

Hope this is helpful.
