Dear Dan,

Yes, we have experienced a dulling effect on solder joints using a batch
cleaner and a sapponifier in the past. We wrestled with the problem for
a long time and eventually found that using an Armakleen formulation
with a built in brightener solved the problem. It is important to
remember that a dull joint does not reduce joint reliability, only the
asthetic appearance.
