Recently I asked about where to buy a plastic 4X loupe...
This was a nice "giveaway" item I've had for years, which numerous people
have tried to swipe. This is a fill-in.

Seems that DuPont and AT&T circuits had used these as trade promotional
items, and they are good quality one-piece clear plastic magnifiers,
suitable for film inspection. They allow plenty of topside ambient light,
and rest on any flat surface at the appropriate focal distance.

Thanks to Frank Kurisu, Scott Birnbaum, and John Nelson for the clues.

They can be purchased from the seemingly friendly people at:

Penn Inc.
417 E Ross St.
Lancaster, PA 17602-1943

Phone: (800)608-7366 ext. 14 Steve Shank
       (717)397-7480

p/n D402A (this is imported from Hong Kong, but identical to the W. German
ones they formerly supplied)

price is $9.45 each, minimum order 12 pcs
these can be imprinted with a logo for $1-2 each with a $45 setup charge.
They can take a credit card order, too.
Tell Steve that I expect a commission for this sales effort ;-)

Sorry, I am not aware of any impending doom to heroically warn you of; nor
is there any new and easy way to become rich for which I hold the key. You
are strictly on your own. Please let me remain happily ignorant if I have
been passing up an easy fortune or my computer is about to die.
