     Hi Kirk -

Take a look at the following reference: "Parametric Study on the
Solderability of Etched PWB Copper", F. Hosking, SMI Proceedings 1996,
page 671. The paper (and its references) contains quite a bit of info
on surface tension and wetting of thin lines that may be of use to
     you. Good Luck.

Does anyone know of papers, books or proceedings which compare the surface
energy and flow characteristics between 90/10, 85/15, and 63/37 plated
SnPb?

Thanks,
Kirk Van Dreel
