We purchase our "Cleco" spring clips from: Monogram Aerospace Fasteners
in Los Angeles, CA. Their phone number is (213) 722-4760. I have never
thought of using them for temporary holding during wave solder. Let us
know how it works out.

Subject: assem: Temp hardware
Hello TechNet,
In another life we used temporary fasteners (spring clips), to pre
assemble sheet metal and hold the panels in place while installing
rivets. I
think these clips were originally designed for installing skins during
aircraft assembly. I believe these clips were made by Kleco and that is
also what we called them, "Kleco spring Clips". Has anyone else had
experience with this type of temporary hardware and can supply a
source? I want to use this application as temporary hardware to secure
edge connectors, battery clips, etc... to PCA's during the wave solder
operation. Thanks in advance for your input and advise.
