Any attempts to provide long prop delays on high speed logic designs
that have small real-estate seem impractical. I believe rise time
becomes a significant percentage of the prop delay and impedance
matching over the entire bandwidth is a factor for reflection (ringing)
Also antenna effects need to be considered for crosstalk, susceptibility
and emissions. However, 1/4 wave and 1/2 wave phase shifters often done
at 1GHz and up freq for RF.
